Alaskan Blueberry Coffee Cake

Coffee Cake: a cake, not necessarily made with coffee but with nuts and fruit, with a crumbly topping called a streusel (in German it means "something sprinkled") served with coffee usually for breakfast. Interrrrresting...

This recipe I got from Sophia Tanaka, an old roommate. Why it says it's from Alaska, I may never know.
Cake
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 + 1/8 C sugar (ok, a little less than 3/4 C)
2 1/2 t baking powder
1 t salt
1/4 C oil
3/4 C milk
1 egg
1 C blueberries

Streusel
1/3 C flour
1/3 C brown sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 C butter, cut
1/2 C blueberries
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, bp, salt. Then add the oil, milk, egg and mix. Fold in the blueberries. Spread into 8x8" pan.

Cut up the streusel ingredients (except blueberries) in a separate bowl until the butter is pea sized. Then sprinkle it on top of the cake and top with the 1/2 C blueberries.

Bake for 35 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
