2-Ingredient Chocolate Cake

C. Wong and I like to email each other important tidbits--like the nutrition of vegan babies and this recipe. The recipe originally called it a brownie, but from the photo above, it is clearly a cake. Right out of the oven, it has a funky, gooey, metallic pumpkiney boxed taste. But the next day, it's much better.
1 Box of chocolate cake mix
1 15 oz can of pumpkin
Mix together and bake according to box instructions. Batter super thick. Ends up tasting like moist boxed cake. Neat that you don’t need any other ingredients. Maybe better if vanilla cake, pumpkin and 1 tsp spices.

Makes a 9x13" pan
