Meghan talked about this famed Texan nacho cheese dip as being her favorite and I always wondered what the difference was between nacho cheese and queso. Psst, the secret is the salsa and the sausage. Ahunna recommends spicy Jimmy Dean sausage in a bulk roll.
Velveeta (we got the standard block. Was that a pound?), cubed
1 can of Ro-tel Original salsa with diced tomatoes and green chili, I think it was 10 or 16 oz.
Sausage cooked and drained we used hot italian links
Tortilla chips
You can use more or less velveeta depending on how much cheese you want. We didn't use the whole box, but at least half. Toss all in a pot (see below) and heat on low medium heat, stirring to make sure the cheese doesn't burn until the velveeta is melted.
